The short version: We do not sell or share your personal information. You do not need to do anything to opt out. This page explains every choice you have.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Some state laws, including California’s, give you the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. Sharing means giving it to others for cross-context behavioral advertising, the kind of ad that follows you from site to site.
SeniorPerksList Media LLC does not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not give reader addresses to sponsors. That is true for every reader, in every state.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request. You do not need to contact us.
Your email choices
Unsubscribe from the Thursday List
Click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email. You will be removed right away.
Turn off Flash Perk Alerts
Flash Perk Alerts are optional and arrive no more than twice a month. Use the “Manage preferences” link in any email to turn them off. You will still receive the Thursday List.
Opt out of partner offers
Dedicated sponsor emails only go to readers who opted in. To stop them, use “Manage preferences” or the link in any partner email.
Request your data or delete it
To see what we hold about you, or to have it deleted or corrected:
- Email privacy@seniorperkslist.com from the address you subscribed with.
- Use the subject line “Access request,” “Deletion request,” or “Correction request.”
- We will send a confirmation link to that address to verify it is you.
We reply within 45 days, and usually within a few days. If you ask us to delete your data, we keep only your address on a do-not-email list, so you are never added back by mistake.
Authorized agents
A family member or other authorized agent can make a request for you. They need your signed written permission, or a valid power of attorney. We may still ask you to confirm your identity directly.
Sponsors and affiliate links
Our sponsor emails and affiliate links do not change any of this. Sponsors never receive your email address. Our Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure explains how we earn money without selling your information.
No discrimination
We will never treat you differently for using your privacy rights. The newsletter stays free and the same for everyone.
